Making Gingerbread House and Brunching at a Christmas Wonderland

Every year we buy and build a gingerbread house and its always so much fun. This year on the other hand we bought one that just wouldn't stay up lol. It was definitely a task but all Jayleen was interested in was eating it so it worked out. We ended up using a ton of frosting and in the end finally kept it's shape haha. A lot of people on my IG were telling me to use a glue gun next time and that's actually a smart idea so def will do that. It was fun though & I think the fact it kept falling gave us plenty of laughs lol.

I went to a Christmas bar at "Parish The Brasserie and Neighborhood Cafe" with some friends a few weeks ago and our waitress told us they would also be doing brunch on the weekends as well and I just thought of how much Jayleen would love it so I made a reservation for this past Sunday. As soon as we walked in Jayleen's eyes just lit up, she was pointing at everything and since it was a gloomy day it was extra dark in there which made the lights just stand out more! The food was great and the music selection was the best, we heard Jayleen sing along to at least three songs. Such a cute place!
